VOUCHER for 2 collagraph sessions in 2024/5 (one to one tuition only)
Use this voucher for either 2 mornings or 2 afternoons for one person . Sessions can be tailor made to suit your needs. You will learn how to make collagraph plates using found and everyday materials. The first workshop involves the preparation of your collagraph plates, creating textures/patterns and choosing compositions and applying materials to card plates. These will then be varnished and left to dry. There is usually also time to try some simple print techniques to become familiar with the printing process on the etching press in the studio. The second session will involve printing from your plates once they have dried overnight,. You will learn ow to layer colour, create depth in your prints and experiment with the intaglio and relief printing process in order to create around 6 - 8 beautiful prints to take home.
